The Kingston Academy is a new Free Secondary School in North Kingston, which opened for the first time in September 2015 with a cohort of Year 7 pupils. The school will grow annually by an additional year group until 2021.  TKA has received a substantial capital grant for the refurbishment of the existing educational facilities and for additional new modern buildings which we have just taken possession of at the beginning of this term. Our mission is to provide a world-class education for all the young people within our community to ensure that every pupil is safe, happy and succeeds.

Ideally, candidates will have previous experience in a school environment or similar role (desirable but not essential as full training will be provided). The role would also suit retired or semi-retired professionals.

Interviews for shortlisted applicants will be held on in the week commencing 18th November 2019.

Successful applicants must be available to attend a training session on the morning of Tuesday 26 November 2019.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.

All relevant checks will be carried out to ensure that candidates meet child safe-guarding requirements.
